The discussion on the peaceful use of nuclear energy is a concept that has been advancing over the past century presenting many opportunities and challenges around the globe. During the 20th century, nuclear energy was discovered through nuclear fission and has grown in demand ever since. It provided a low-carbon energy source which is key to combating climate change being used as an alternative energy source However, a multitude of proponents argue that the creation of the nuclear bomb imposes dangers, as it has the potential to cause great harm. Nuclear energy is commonly associated with the risk of nuclear accidents, radioactive waste disposal, and unsafe expansion. It is essential to address the peaceful use of nuclear energy to maximize its benefits and eliminate its risks as effectively as possible.
