Dear Esteemed Delegates, Advisors, and Guests,
It is with immense pride and excitement that I welcome you to the inaugural session of RHHS Model United Nations. What began as a small but determined idea has grown into a vibrant program that embodies the principles of diplomacy, collaboration, and global awareness.
When I first set out to establish the Model United Nations program at Rocky Hill High School during my freshman year, the path ahead was uncertain. Like any new endeavor, it required vision, perseverance, and the courage to believe in its potential. With the invaluable support of our school community, we built a foundation rooted in the shared belief that young minds, when empowered, can make meaningful contributions to solving the world’s most pressing issues.
RHHS MUN I is more than just a conference; it is a celebration of these ideals. Over the course of this day, you will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of diplomats, tackle global challenges, and craft innovative solutions. I urge you to embrace this experience with an open mind, a collaborative spirit, and a dedication to representing the voices of the countries and people you advocate for.
As you engage in committee sessions, forge alliances, and champion resolutions, remember that the skills and lessons learned here extend far beyond today’s conference. They are the tools of change-makers, leaders, and diplomats who shape the future.
Thank you for being part of RHHS MUN I. Let’s make this day one to remember.
Best Regards,
Idhaant Bhosle
Secretary General of RHHS MUN I
